Poughkeepsie Celebrates Polka Rascals
Mayor John Tkazyik honored Polka Rascals Tom and Cindy Zak on Sunday for twenty years of Polka broadcasting. Tom and Cindy participated in Pougkeepsie’s Pulaski Day, celebrating Polish soldier General Casimir Pulaski, who fought in the American Revolutionary War and (fun fact!) once saved George Washington’s life.
