Last Friday, Alabama’s irresistibly poppy and twangy rock’n’roll outfit Thomas Function stopped by the WVKR HQ to do a stripped-down set, having played a rocking show with Popo and Garotas Suecas at Vassar the night before. Singer/guitarist Josh Macero worked his way through songs off of the band’s debut Celebration and also threw some old and new tracks into the mix.

There’s new stuff, too. Our blog has moved home from its old location and can be accessed from the top of every page here at WVKR.org. We also have a new Community section, where you’ll find our community calendar and updates about community events going on in the Mid-Hudson Valley. You’ll notice the calendar looks pretty bare right now. Help us get the word out by submitting a PSA or community event!
